sad sad day.....
was lying on the bed while reading a novel when the phone rang. ever since i'm working in kl, and whenever the phone rang and the screen shows "mak" i will surely panic for news that i wldnt wanna hear. and my fear came when last nite just after isyak, the mobile screen showed mak calling. her voice was totally different and i knew the moment she said, "gerl, yai..... " , i could complete her sentence.
my yai, Haji Shariff bin Ahmad, passed away at about 2025hrs on the 7th february 2006. and he just celebrated his 90th birthday last August.
went back with kak yati who drove all the way back to spore. reached spore closed to 4am. shld be here till i dunno when. shld be all the way till monday, i reckon. shall call alan tomorrow to confirm.
for now friends and relatives, can u please share your al-fateha for him?

idah and dila, i love u both. it was different without u both. i knew how badly u wanna be here. i wld be in the same position too shld i am still in brisbane. u guys know how was his condition, and it was time for him to go and meet his creator and his love of his life. *hugs*
