survivor....
was in the office yesterday when kak tini text me asking about my whereabouts. told her where i was and she told me that she was on her way to sim lim and would like to meet up with me to pass something. so, i said ok and will text her again once i'm done with werk.
about 5pm, confirmed with her again and arrange to meet at 7-11 opposite tekka market. she was browsing through the apparels at the little india arcade when i saw her. and then.... i saw someone 'hiding' behind those racks, and there she was smiling away.... when i saw her... i gave her a bear hug and was very pleased and grateful to meet up with dekna from aceh again. u see, dekna is from aceh and u know how aceh is now after the tsunami and all..... she's on transit in spore for 3 days after a training in sri lanka... she actually asked her boss if she cld extend her stay in spore. she was suppose to have only an hour of transit before the connecting flgt to jakarta...
she was there when the tsunami occured. she was telling me everything that happened and alhamdulillah, her immediated family is alive. but she lost half of her friends and lost everything that she owned before. but, then again, its nothing compared to the rest who lost everything.. practically... everything...
mite be meeting up with her again later in the afternoon as kak tini is in the morning shift today... dekna is indeed a tsunami survivor who get to live and tell her experience...
and anyways... to my dearest mother....
