tribute
3yrs ago, this date, i embarked to a new journey in my life. it was the start of a totally new experience. and it wldnt have happened without the help of a lot of people. throughout the whole 3 yrs in brisbane, i made new friends that some of them are so close that we are like family. so, this entry is a tribute to all of them that guide me thru the experience in brisbane. the names appear in no particular order.

first of all, thanks a lot to sahiril and his family . without u guys, i wldnt have realise abt my potential to study abroad. thanks for what happened that gave me an opportunity to upgrade myself overseas. thanks for tears and encouragement that u gave me. wish u all the best in your future too.
amir, thanks for replying my email abt the temp accomodation. it was the first email that led on to many other help that u offered me. thanks for introducing me to maznie. thanks for being a brother. thanks for the rides that u willingly offer without any hesitation even tho your car was full. thanks to u too that i found myself a hsemate within days after arriving in brisbane.
maznie, thanks for accomodating me during my first week in brisbane. thanks for the hospitality that u gave. u really made me feel at home. u made me feel like i'm not a stranger in your house. thanks for the great friendship that u gave. thanks for the enjoyable trip to sydney in winter 2001. thank you for being a true friend.
yuszela, u were just like a younger sister to me. dun ask me why. but staying with u for 2yrs, it made me realise that we can be related even with a stranger. thanks for trusting me to be your hsemate. thanks for the first time experience i had staying with somebody that i've just met for only 2days. sincerely, thanks.
ayu, ayu, ayu... what wld i be without u.. thanks a lot my dear friend. u've been really really true friend. still remember the first time we first met. hehhee it'll stay fresh in my mind. thanks ayu. u have always been there whenever i need u. u never hesitate to give me and my hsemates a ride home even tho it was totally out of your way. u go all out to help others. u and your bubbly personality keep the mood going. i owe u a lot, ayu. i hope Allah swt. will help me repay your kindness. thanks darling.

sheda, thanks for being that lil 'creature' for me to hug. hehee.. thanks for being a pain in the ass younger sister in brisbane. i truly enjoyed it tho. the hugging sessions, the summer walk-ard in brisbane, the cookie making session, the all the nite trivia session, everything. well, cept for your infamous mood-swing. hahha.. but then again, i finally accept them tho. *i was finding a photo of us together, but i just cldnt find any. just this one tho, during one of the late nite session in uni.*
nackish miri shah, thanks for being who u are. sorry i got to put your full name coz i just cldnt resist it. hehe... no other reasons. yeah, i know things didnt turn out the way we wanted at the end of my stay there in brisbane, trust me, i still have u in my mind. thanks for being a roommate for the last semester. thanks for being manja. even tho i wasnt sorry for how i behave, i am sorry that things turn out that way. thanks to your family for their presence in brisbane and the way they accepted my invitation to stay over really touches my heart. thanks to your family again for welcoming me to malacca last year. thank you for everything, gerl. *smiles*
tasha, not only u are a roommate, but u are more than that. i dunno how to describe the relationship we share, but i truly treasure it tho. thanks for everything. those little things that we share, whether we realise them or not, play a major part during my stay there. i'm sorry for what happened to boris. i just have to do what i have to do. i do miss him tho, sometimes. it was because of u that i can actually tolerate him. if not, i dun think i give a damn abt that lil creature of yours. i'm sorry if i can be a pain to liive with, i'm sorry if there are things that i did annoy u. sincerest thanks for the 2yrs that we stayed together. thank you. thank you. thank you.
i know there are more individuals that played a part in my life when i was there. to those whom i didnt mention your names, not that i forget, i have always do, thanks for dropping by in my life. thanks for adding some colours to my life. from the bottom of my heart, i thank you.
all the best in whatever u are doing now. good luck. always be greatful that we have friends around us to make us smile, laugh, and even cry. these are the things that make us look back in memories.
